Jr FireWolves

Beginners Program

This program is focused on those that do not have much experience with the game of lacrosse.  This program is for Tyke/Novice and Pee Wee age players who will learn the general skills of box lacrosse through practice.

Starting June 8, 2021 Tyke/Novice/Pee Wee age players will have the opportunity to participate in a 8-session program coached by NLL Professional athletes of the Albany FireWolves.

Schedule:
June 8 to July 27, 2021
Tuesdays:  6:00pm to 6:45pm

Ages:

Tyke/Novice/PeeWee
Birth Year – 2009 | 2010 | 2011 | 2012 | 2013 | 2014
Grade 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

Location:
Capital District YMCA – Bethlehem Area Branch: 900 Delaware Ave, Delmar, NY 12054

Cost (per player):

  • Tyke / Novice / Pee Wee: $300**
  • Goalies: free

** A half or full payment is required to hold a spot.  Payments are refundable prior to the start of a program.

All participants will receive:

  • Jr. FireWolves pinnie
  • One free ticket to a 2021-22 FireWolves home game and discounts for family members
  • 20% off FireWolves & Jr. FireWolves merchandise and Epoch equipment

Requirements: Players must provide their own equipment including stick (no wooden sticks or long poles), gloves, helmet, shoulder pads, mouthpiece and footwear (sneakers only, no cleats).  We highly recommend bicep and kidney protection as well.
