ALBANY, NY – The Albany FireWolves of the National Lacrosse League (NLL), today announce their schedule for the 2023-24 NLL regular season. The FireWolves, in conjunction with the NLL, also announce several new structural formats, most prominently a single-table “unified standings” in which teams are ranked regardless of geography, debuting this season. As a result of the new format, the FireWolves will play each of the other fourteen teams in the NLL at least once this season.
For the third season, MVP Arena will be the FireWolves’ home. FireWolves fans can look forward to special nights such as celebrating St. Patrick’s Day weekend in March, honoring the game’s indigenous roots, and much more this season! The full 2023-24 promotional schedule will be released at a later date.
Saturday Spotlight
Eight of the nine FireWolves home games will be played on a Saturday night this season. FireWolves games are the perfect night out for family and friends looking for fun and excitement in the Capital Region!
Home Opener Versus the Defending Champions
Following an away game to start the season, the FireWolves will play their first home game against the NLL Champion Buffalo Bandits on Saturday, December 9, at 7:00 p.m. at MVP Arena.
Friday Night Showcase
The FireWolves welcome the Vancouver Warriors to Albany for the first time for their only Friday night home contest on March 8, 2024 at 7:00 p.m.
A Mammoth Meeting
The 2022 NLL Champion and 2023 runner up Colorado Mammoth visit Albany for the first time on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at MVP Arena.
