ALBANY, NY – The Albany FireWolves of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) today announce the return of the team’s annual “PACK Gives Back” charity golf outing. The golf outing returns to the Normanside Country Club in Delmar on Monday, September 26 for its second year.
Proceeds from the golf outing will go directly to the FireWolves Foundation to support philanthropic efforts, to grow the game of Box lacrosse in the region and to give back to the Capital Region Community. Last year’s inaugural golf outing raised over $15,000 to support the organization’s community efforts, including offering scholarships, the purchase of equipment, and registration assistance to the Junior FireWolves programs.
The event will begin with an on-site registration at 8 a.m. followed by a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start in a four-person scramble. Sponsorship packages and foursomes are now available and include breakfast, greens fees, a cart, beverages on the course, a cocktail reception, and dinner immediately following play.
