ALBANY, NY – The Albany FireWolves of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) today announce that defenseman and faceoff specialist Joe Nardella has agreed to a contract extension and has committed to the team for the next two years.
Entering his third season in the NLL, all within the organization, Nardella has already solidified himself as one of the best faceoff men in the game. In his rookie season with the New England Black Wolves, Nardella finished third in the league in faceoff win percentage and earned NLL All-Rookie Team honors. Last season with the FireWolves, Nardella finished third in the NLL with 295 faceoff wins and a 67.2 win percentage. Over the summer, Nardella was second in the Premier Lacrosse League, winning 65 percent of his faceoff attempts.
