“As we continue to prepare for our inaugural season, we are tremendously proud to roll out the second session of our Junior FireWolves programming,” said George Manias, President of the Albany FireWolves. “The success of our summer program really proved to us that this IS a lacrosse market, so we are continuing our grassroots efforts and our goal of growing the game by now offering our winter session.”
The Winter Box Program will also provide players the opportunity to compete in local and regional lacrosse tournaments throughout the session. The players will have the opportunity to compete on the select Junior FireWolves team and play against other NLL select teams while representing the Albany FireWolves.
“For the youth lacrosse players in the Capital District, we encourage you all to register now!” Manias added. “There are limited spots, so if you want to learn the box game, play on the FireWolves field, be trained by the best coaches in the area and receive all kinds of great FireWolves perks, sign up now!”
