A rookie to the NLL, Jackson Brown is excited to take on the pressure of playing at the highest level.  From Burlington, Ontario, Brown took his first opportunity in net while playing at the minor level when the goalie did not show up one day. He willingly hopped into goal and has been defending between the pipes ever since. After being cut from the Oakville Buzz, Brown joined the Hamilton Bengals in Jr. B. He was then picked up by the Toronto Beaches in Jr. A where he played for four years and became familiar with members of the FireWolves coaching staff. After an injury setback, Brown joined the Okotoks Raiders in Calgary and had the opportunity to compete in the Minto tournament. Brown credits that experience as one of the best in his lacrosse career.

Brown has ventured to the Capital Region prior to joining the FireWolves, playing in a few field tournaments held in Albany.  He looked up the Times Union Center online and got goosebumps just thinking about playing in the arena. Brown is excited for the electric atmosphere and is looking forward to getting his first taste of playing at the NLL level.
