Joe Nardella

Entering his second season with the organization, Capital Region lacrosse fans have already gotten to see Joe Nardella in action prior to the FireWolves’ inaugural season.  Originally from Cazenovia, New York, Nardella attended Rutgers University where he piled up the accolades including Academic All-American, First Team All-B1G, B1G Specialist of the Year, Two-Time Big East Selection, and Tewaaraton Watch List Nominee. Following his time at Rutgers, Nardella was drafted by the Boston Cannons of the MLL.  He was a two-time MLL All-Star and ranks top 20 All-Time in league history in both faceoffs taken and won. He then burst onto the scene in the PLL, joining the Whipsnakes and being a pivotal part of their championship runs in 2019 and 2020 as he dominated the stripe.

Nardella had a solid debut season with the Black Wolves in 2019, ranking fourth in faceoff wins and third in faceoff percentage, earning NLL All-Rookie Team honors. Through 11 game sin the NLL, Nardella has totaled six points, 86 loose balls, and a .578 faceoff percentage.
