AFW SCHOOL PROGRAM

The Albany FireWolves Lacrosse Club of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) is excited to present its school community programming.

AFW School Program is open to all students, K-12. Programs will be directed and led by Albany Firewolves players Will Johansen, Tye Kurtz, Sam Firth, and Justin Geddie.

Workshops we offer can be customizable and modified to fit your school’s needs.

Session We Offer:

  • Lacrosse 101: This is for students and/or classes that have limited to no experience. Players will teach participants the basic skills of cradling, catching, and throwing.
  • Lacrosse 102: This program is for students/teams that have some basic knowledge of lacrosse and can catch and throw.  Players will run drills and enhance students’ knowledge of the game.
  • Alphie’s Reading Program: Players and/or dance team members will come to read a book of your choice!
  • Interactive Meet & Greet: Players and/or dance team members discuss their profession. Q & A is encouraged.  Autograph sessions are available.
