Available Positions:

  • Social Media Internship

    Albany FireWolves Social Media Internship (Fall 2023 through Spring 2024 semesters)

    The Albany FireWolves are currently seeking motivated individuals for our 2023-24 social media internship program. The ideal candidate for this internship is organized, a self-starter, creative, and capable of being adaptable in a fast-paced environment. A qualified candidate should be able to work independently and within a team, handle multiple projects and tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve objectives set forth by their supervisor and themselves. All internships within the organization are unpaid and require the intern to receive academic credit for their time. Candidates selected for a role within the organization will be given the opportunity to have a hand in multiple aspects of executing an Albany FireWolves home game

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns
    • Assist in creating weekly and monthly content calendars to promote company brands on various social media platforms
    • Create and distribute content across all social media platforms
    • Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
    • Perform social media marketing research and assist on campaign strategy
    • Respond to comments and DMs on social media platforms
    • Brainstorm and research ideas for original content
    • Write social media captions that speak to the company’s target audience
    • Help create and edit short-form videos
    • Develop new strategies for increasing engagement
    • Assist with photo/video content shoots
    • Ensure brand message is consistent
    • Must be available to work all FireWolves home games

  • Ticket Sales Internship

    Albany FireWolves Ticket Sales Internship (Fall 2023 through Spring 2024 semesters)

    The Albany FireWolves are currently seeking motivated individuals for our 2023-24 ticket sales internship program. The ideal candidate for this internship is organized, self-motivated, customer oriented, and capable of being adaptable in a fast-paced environment. A qualified candidate should be able to work independently and within a team, handle multiple projects and tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve objectives set forth by their supervisor and themselves. All internships within the organization are unpaid and require the intern to receive academic credit for their time. Candidates selected for a role within the organization will be given the opportunity to have a hand in multiple aspects of executing an Albany FireWolves home game.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Daily outbound sales calls and campaigns for season, group, and individual game tickets
    • Assisting the sales department in day-to-day ticket operations & fulfillment
    • Plan and develop theme nights for specified home games
    • Ensuring pre-season, in-season, post season & game day activation and delivery of all NLL ticket experience deliverables
    • Ensure customer data and profile information is accurate and detailed in CRM system
    • Attend & work community events, representing the team to network and build sales pipeline
    • Assist with game day responsibilities of the sales department
    • Attending & staffing all events to network, market the team and sell & promote tickets to NLL games
    • Assisting clients and provide customer service
    • Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Vice President of Sales and/or Director of Ticket Sales & Service

  • Gameday Operations Internship

    Albany FireWolves Gameday Operations Internship (Fall 2023 through Spring 2024 semesters)

    The Albany FireWolves are currently seeking motivated individuals for our 2023-24 gameday operations internship program. The ideal candidate for this internship is organized, self-motivated, customer oriented, and capable of being adaptable in a fast-paced environment. A qualified candidate should be able to work independently and within a team, handle multiple projects and tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve objectives set forth by their supervisor and themselves. All interns within the organization receive academic credit for their time, with approval subject to his or her direct supervisor. Candidates selected for a role within the organization will be given the opportunity to have a hand in multiple aspects of executing an Albany FireWolves home game.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Must be available to work ALL Albany FireWolves home games, which includes nights and weekends, beginning up to 3 hours prior to game-time
    • Contribute to the planning and execution of in-game promotions, halftime shows, and interactive activities encompassing fan engagement
    • Assist in crowd management and guest services to promote a safe and enjoyable experience for fans
    • Present yourself in a professional manner in both appearance and behavior
    • Have a positive attitude and be proactive in identifying and addressing any operational challenges that arise during gamedays
    • Assist sales and game day representatives with duties including pre-game parades, National Anthem groups, halftime groups, in-game contests, theme nights, and other pre-game elements
    • Additional duties assigned as needed
