ALBANY, NEW YORK – The Albany FireWolves, of the National Lacrosse League (NLL), today announce that the team will play their inaugural season home-opening game at the Times Union Center on Saturday, December 18 at 7:00 p.m. The FireWolves will host their home-opener, following a two-week road trip to begin the 2021-22 NLL season, against an opponent to be announced at a later date.
“The announcement that Capital Region lacrosse fans have been waiting for has finally arrived! Individual game tickets for our inaugural season home-opener will be available for purchase as soon as September 1,” said George Manias, President of the Albany FireWolves. “With tickets as low as $15, we are able to give fans an affordable opportunity to enjoy the fast-paced and entertaining action of box lacrosse, an epic pregame party, and unmatched quality in-game entertainment.”
Individual tickets to the historic inaugural home-opening game will go on sale to the public on Wednesday, September 1 at 1:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at www.AlbanyFireWolves.com, www.ticketmaster.com, over the phone at 518-362-4900, or in person at either the Times Union Center box office or at the team’s office located in the atrium at the Times Union Center.
The FireWolves will offer a variety of seats ranging from the field level to the upper bowl. Each seat offers a unique experience for fans, with an up close and personal view at a great value. More details on the team’s inaugural home opener will be announced soon.
