ALBANY, NY – The Albany FireWolves of the National Lacrosse League invite fans of all ages to the MVP Arena to experience the magic of Star Wars on Saturday, March 25th when characters from Star Wars will be on hand during the game between the hometown FireWolves and Toronto Rock.
The FireWolves are excited to bring Star Wars, the worldwide pop culture phenomenon, to Albany. The first 1,500 fans through the door will receive a free Star Wars themed poster. Fans will have the opportunity to meet Star Was characters who will be circulating throughout the arena. Game attendees are encouraged to dress up as their favorite Star Wars character.
The game starts at 7:00 p.m., but doors open at 6:00 p.m. so fans can meet, interact, and take pictures with iconic Star Wars characters such as Chewbacca who will be at the MVP Arena concourse eager to meet FireWolves fans of all ages.
“From the very first movie to the Mandalorian, Star Wars has been entertaining fans for more than forty years and we’re excited to bring some of these iconic characters to our fans in the MVP Arena,” said Chris Porreca, President of the FireWolves. “We’re looking forward to joining our all our box lacrosse fans as they help us use the force to defeat the Toronto Rock this Saturday.”
