ALBANY, NY – The Albany FireWolves of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) today announce that the team will hold its training camp from Friday, October 28 through Sunday, October 30 at the MVP Arena in Albany. The team will also be hosting an open house on Saturday, October 29 for fans to watch camp and select their seats for the 2022-23 season.
FireWolves players will arrive in the Capital Region on October 28 for the opening of training camp and begin team meetings. Following entrance physicals on October 29, the team will take the turf twice, first from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. and again from 6 – 8 p.m. Finally, the team will close the first weekend of camp with another session on the floor from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. on October 29. The FireWolves will then be in Toronto to practice every weekend up until the beginning of the NLL season.
The open house on Saturday, October 29 will be from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the MVP Arena. This will be an opportunity for fans to get a sneak peak of the FireWolves players and coaches as the team prepares for its second season on the floor. Fans will be able to watch camp from a variety of locations in the arena, and also enjoy an atrium party. Season apparel will be available, and food and beverages will be provided.
