Coming off a Goalie of the Year campaign, Doug Jamieson looks to continue to be a brick wall, now for the FireWolves. Prior to breaking into the NLL, Jamieson won two championships in 2015: a Minto Cup and the national final, both with the Six Nations Arrows. Drafted by the Black Wolves ahead of the 2016-17 season, Jamieson became a staple in the organization’s defense. He became the full-time starter in 2018 where he boasted a .784 save percentage despite allowing 12.28 goals per game.

Before COVID-19 shut down the 2019-20 season early, Jamieson was posting unreal numbers for a goaltender on his way to earning his first Goalie of the Year award. He allowed a mere 8.80 goals per game, second best in NLL history, and set a league record for save percentage at an incredible 82.9%. Though the season was cut short, the Black Wolves were on pace to allow the fewest goals since the 2014 Edmonton Rush. Despite the layoff, the best goaltender in the game is back between the pipes and will look to be the anchor of a tough defense once again.
